What Every Musician Needs to Know About the Body

Description

Our new book, What Every Musician Needs to Know About the Body is now available! It’s a book about Body Mapping and the kinesthetic sense and how they can be developed in ways that help musicians play well. It is full of information about the Alexander Technique, but it is very useful for people who don’t have access to an Alexander teacher as well. The cost of the book is $21.50. The book is designed and illustrated by Ben Conable, the son of Barbara Conable and Bill Conable, the originators of the Body Mapping concept. His work, a sample of which is below, speaks for itself.

This is the main text for the new course of the same name developed by Barbara Conable at Andover Educators, Inc. Barbara is offering her new course throughout the US. For information about the course and the schedule visit www.bodymap.org.
